Larch contains lots of natural oils, which will provide adequate protection to the timber. They can be left untreated to naturally silver off over time, or treated with a clear preservative to retain their colour for many years.They can also be easily stained or painted.
 
It is common to see naturally occurring defects like knots, both live and dead, sap pockets and surface shakes, whilst we do our utmost to grade the worst of these out, you may see a small percentage of these.
